Rumor: Sonic to be playable in Super Smash Bros: Brawl?

It looks like Nintendo is supposedly working on getting atleast one other non-Nintendo character into the game. Some guys on the official Nintendo board have been hinting that the character is Sonic. Not much evidence to help this rumor, but it still sounds like a great idea.

I would love to see Sonic in SSBB. I'm surprised no one has thought of this before and spread rumours. I guess we'll wait until March (?) to find out.

ahh yes. how it would be great for sonic in brawl. i'm just another one of those fans. however, i another article i heard that even though nintendo wants him in, sega has not contacted nintendo about the matter. still, his chances are incresing!

I'm not surprised to see if Sonic actually gets put into SSBB due to all those April Fool Jokes about him.
It's gonna be awesome if it's really true =D

This is pretty old and doesn't mean anything. Sonic Team has not yet contacted Nintendo to ask them if Sonic could be playable in Brawl. This means that the chances are good that they aren't ready for their hedgehog to make a huge appearance in one of the world's greatest games.
