Commercial Based on Katamari!

Wednesday, September 27, 2006
They totally ripped off Katamari in this hilarious video commercial. I think I would sue. This is exploitation of a great series, but you can't argue that it isn't a funny video.

Sunday, September 24, 2006
I, Mario is the title of a game project intended to reinvent the setting of the Super Mario series of games, in a meticulously realistic style. It is meant to be a sort of hats-off to the series, but it has caused some controversy. See for yourself. Links to the forum are included.

Play as Master Hand without using Gameshark in the original SSB!

This video shows a trick to play as Master Hand in Super Samsh Brothers for the Nintendo 64. I haven't tried it, but it seems to be a cheat put into the game that not only lets you play as Master Hand, but lets you play on a stage that you can't normally, also.

Also giving live updates.

All times are in CENTRAL TIME.

EDIT 1: 8:35 Conference running late, check out for more in 20 minutes.
EDIT 2: 8:40 Apparently the conference started, Iwata and Nintendo heads on stage.
EDIT 3: 8:48 Still introducing at NOJ
EDIT 4: 8:50 Iwata goes over sales figures of DS and PSP, looks like they might hold off the Wii stuff for a while.
EDIT 5: 8:53 Just sales figures and pie charts. It still might be a while tonight till we get Wii info.
EDIT 6: 9:00 Seems to be mass confusion at all my sources. It appears that the main news source for this whole conference has been posting info from an OLD conference. More info as it becomes available.
EDIT 7: 9:06 Internet still in mass confusion. Looks like the news I have is from an OLD video. Sorry guys, I chose the wrong source. I have read that it could be 3 hours until we get any news. I will look for more and post again.
EDIT 8: 9:11 Looks like somebody screwed up royally. GWN, the main source for all Nintendo news on the internet right now was using a feed from June to give live updates on the conference. Since no large blogs have press in Japan, pretty much the entire internet assumed GWN was at the conference and had correct info. This looks like it was incorrect. The latest reports have alleged that Nintendo's conference is ACTUALLY 3 hours from now. Guys, I will try to stay up and get an update in, however I have two exams tomorrow and really need some rest. Sorry about the wrong information. Again, I will continute to post more information tonight as it becomes available.

Wii Info Coming At 10 p.m. PST!

Nintendo's upcoming Wii conferences are explained in this link!

Weird DS WiFi Menu Found!

Sunday, September 10, 2006
This video details a strange, hard to access feature called "Simple Start" that has been found in the WiFi setup menu on DS wifi games. It asks for the user to press a "simple start" button then eventually fails. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say much more, but I think the author was a bit over-zealous claiming nothing can be done.

A 20-Minute Tell-All Video of LOZ: Phantom Hourglass!

Wednesday, September 06, 2006
A tell-all look at the new Zelda for everyone's favorite handheld! You seem to control Link and his boat with the stylus in a manner close to that of Star Fox Command. The battle system seems very similar to SFC also, except that there is no seperate "battle arena." Most of the actual text is unreadable, but the gameplay looks a lot better than described. Overall, the video is very exciting. Can't wait for this game to hit shelves this next year!
