A Nintendo Representative lets the Wii ship date leak?

direct quote from the article:
"A NINTENDO 'deep throat' seems to have overestimated his drinking capacity and let slip the release date for Nintendo's up and coming console, the Wii."

Looks like a high up member of Nintendo seems to have had a little fun the other night. After a couple too many drinks, a Nintendo representative supposedly let out a Japan release of the Wii on October 30th with a US release to follow 10 days after. BDC announces first ever prize tournament!

Sunday, June 18, 2006
As founder of BDC, I am proud to announce our first ever BDC Prize Tournament. Dust off that Mario Kart DS game because BDC is planning one of the best tournaments you'll ever take part in.

Starting July 1st, BDC will begin our Summer 2006 Mario Kart Prize Tournament. The "Opening Round" will begin on the weekend of July 1st and the tournament will finish sometime in July.

Now onto the good stuff. The winner will recieve a $15 Gift Certificate to Best Buy. That's right, you'll recieve a gift just for playing games.

So get that DS out and start training, we would like to see as many participants as possible. If you have any friends who would like to play, let them know. All are welcome to join this tournament.

The tournament will be a "Tyrants" tournament. This will be used to give all participants a more level playing ground. Please do not let this discourage you from entering the tournament, you could still win $15.

Remember guys, this stuff is subject to change. Please check it often to see if anything has changed.

1) All are welcome, however you must be a registered user of the forums to particpate. The forums will be used to post times and information, therefore registation is necesary.

2) You must be able to attend and play on the Opening Weekend of July 1st and 2nd. Times of matches will be posted when finalized. However, you must be able to particpate on July 1st or 2nd.

3) Winner must be willing to give me their address after the tournament. I will NOT send you junk. I will not stalk you. I will just use your address to send you the gift card. NO OTHER CLAN MEMBERS WILL SEE YOUR ADDRESS BESIDES ME.

4) BDC, it's Administration, and N64BOY39 hold the right to cancel the tournament at any time. If cheating or questionable behavior occurs, BDC holds the right to end the tournamnet and keep any prizes.

Be sure to check out this topic for more information.
