A Nintendo Representative lets the Wii ship date leak?

direct quote from the article:
"A NINTENDO 'deep throat' seems to have overestimated his drinking capacity and let slip the release date for Nintendo's up and coming console, the Wii."

Looks like a high up member of Nintendo seems to have had a little fun the other night. After a couple too many drinks, a Nintendo representative supposedly let out a Japan release of the Wii on October 30th with a US release to follow 10 days after. Starting July 1st, BDC will begin our Summer 2006 Mario Kart Prize Tournament. The "Opening Round" will begin on the weekend of July 1st and the tournament will finish sometime in July.

Now onto the good stuff. The winner will recieve a $15 Gift Certificate to Best Buy. That's right, you'll recieve a gift just for playing games.

So get that DS out and start training, we would like to see as many participants as possible. If you have any friends who would like to play, let them know. All are welcome to join this tournament.

The tournament will be a "Tyrants" tournament. This will be used to give all participants a more level playing ground. Please do not let this discourage you from entering the tournament, you could still win $15.

RULES AND CONDITIONS
Remember guys, this stuff is subject to change. Please check it often to see if anything has changed.

1) All are welcome, however you must be a registered user of the forums to particpate. The forums will be used to post times and information, therefore registation is necesary.
